When the sun goes down, light and shadow become the most important design elements. Outdoor lighting design should define space, direct the eyes, soothe emotions, and invite you in. Light gives us security and functionality while creating shadow to bring out definition. The simple textured surface of a stone wall during the day can become a work of art when mixed with light and shadow at night.
LDF Outdoor Lighting was founded on a deep appreciation for thoughtful design and local expertise, beginning with founder Mike Imondi’s background in landscape architecture and decades of experience in Central Ohio. What started as an independent design-focused practice evolved into a dedicated outdoor lighting company driven by Mike’s fascination with how professionally designed lighting transforms landscapes and architecture after dark.
Today, as a family-rooted business led by a nationally certified lighting professional, LDF combines design integrity, technical expertise, and a passion for lighting to create refined, high-quality outdoor lighting systems built to last.

Kevin is from Dublin, Ohio and has been with LDF for over 10 years. At the office he manages and coordinates our yearly maintenance program, oversees our service calls, and handles most of the purchasing and inventory. You may also see Kevin out on calls as needed.
